IREM OC Education Advancement Scholarship Fund
The IREM Orange County Chapter is proud to announce the launch of the Education Advancement Scholarship Fund, created to honor the legacy of a generous past chapter member. This scholarship aims to support our members by funding educational opportunities that further their professional development and help them achieve industry certifications.
Eligibility Criteria:

Applicants must be members of IREM Orange County Chapter 91 in good standing.

Scholarships must be used for courses or certifications offered by IREM (Institute of Real Estate Management).

Priority will be given to applicants pursuing:

CPM® (Certified Property Manager®)
-
ARM® (Accredited Residential Manager®)
-
ACoM® (Accredited Commercial Manager®)
-
Other IREM-approved educational opportunities.

Applicants must demonstrate how the scholarship will benefit their career goals and support the real estate profession.
Application Process:

Complete the Online Application

Include Required Documents:
-
A statement of intent (500 words or less) explaining how the scholarship will support your career development.

Proof of enrollment or registration in an IREM course or certification program.

Submit Your Application:

Deadline: Wednesday, April 30, 2025.

Applications must be submitted via online form/application.

Selection Process:
-
All applications will be reviewed by the Scholarship Committee, comprised of IREM Orange County Chapter board members.

Scholarships will be awarded based on merit, financial need, and alignment with career goals.

Recipients will be notified by Friday, May 9, 2025 and publicly announced during IREM Orange County’s Annual Southern CA Real Estate Conference being held on Thursday, May 22, 2025 at the Hyatt Regency Garden Grove.
Recipient Responsibilities:

Funds must be used exclusively for the approved course or certification.

Recipients agree to share a brief testimonial or success story about their educational experience for chapter promotional purposes.

If a recipient cannot attend the course, funds must be returned to the chapter for redistribution.​

This program is funded by a generous donation from the Mizer family. To honor their commitment to advancing the real estate profession, the scholarship is dedicated to supporting the education and certification goals of our members.
